Ten weeks after MO 001, the second film. Michael Olise went to this year’s Ballon d’Or gala in a suit he helped design, and MO 002 shows how it was made: a celebration of process, in a minute and forty seconds, shot on 16mm.
We follow the suit from sketch to fabric, cutting, sewing and the final fittings. It was developed and styled with the young London label YAKU, with bespoke tailoring consultancy from Charlie Brown and Zac McGarry and custom hardware and jewellery from The Ouze. The detail people noticed on the red carpet: diagonal rows of military-style buttons across the black jacket that spell out his initials, worn over wide-leg trousers.
Where 001 made the sound of training, 002 makes the image of craft — film grain, hands, pins. Same credit line, same producer: a film by Michael Olise, produced by Olise Internal. In the vote itself Olise finished ninth and his Bayern teammate Harry Kane won, but the film makes the result beside the point. The trophy was never his to control; how he showed up was. And a red-carpet look that would have lasted one evening as a photo now lives on as his own content.

Why it is in the libraryA one-night outfit turned into owned content: the making-of outlives the red-carpet photo, and the series numbering keeps the audience waiting for 003.
